Meet The Band
No Apology
Loving band life
Lydia is the keyboardist for the band. Usually a solo artist she is thrilled to be playing again in an ensemble.
“Playing in bands is the best! I've played in several bands but not for a long while and it can be so hard to find band mates. When I saw the post from Wamfest I knew I had to come and check it out! I'm so pleased to have the chance to play with this lovely bunch!”
She is super excited and “really looking forward to our gig at Wamfest!”

About her bandmates she said;
“We may need to warn the Alex that Milly may shatter glassware with the power of her vocals!”
“Ros our drummer...will definitely smash it!” ;)
“I keep finding myself inadvertently trying to steal Cats’ funky bass lines.”
“Kate's gonna slay those riffs on that guitar.”
“Anni owns the stage! A natural born performer, the crowd will absolutely love her!”

Cat - I'm the Bassist of No Apology, a fan of many genres of music, often found in the audience of a gig but taking this big step getting on stage as part of a band to follow my idols, being part of WAMfest is exciting and a little nerve-racking

My name is Anni. I sing Rock, I sings Folk, and I mostly sing in tune!
I hail originally from Ireland and I have been as a Sufolk resident now for 26 years.
What better way to celebrate that, than being part of 'No Apology' and the WAMFest.
Being part of a put together band, at short notice, based on the BBC Riot Women drama is interesting, fun and a very human experience. Bring it on!

My name is Milllie-May and I am a performing arts student at CTC performing arts college and I am so excited to be doing this as a new opportunity!

Ros - Drummer 'How many bands do you know that have cake at rehearsals? Just one of the benefits of being in an all woman band. Life's too short not to have fun and this is so much fun.'

Kate is one of the WAMwomen event team. Lead guitarist, Kate also is lead singer for Slippery Conditions - a locally based band.
